Now, you want to travel but do not want your regime interrupted by not being at home to catch your favourite Pilates class. What are you to do? Before you leave on vacation you might want to do a preliminary check of what your destination may hold in terms of Pilates classes. You might even be able to locate a locale Pilates studio near your hotel. Most studios allow for drop-ins. Obviously if you wish to join a class or two while in town you might have to pay more than you would at home but the cost increase is often negligible and well worth the benefits you will derive from an uninterrupted exercise regime.

Your other option when traveling is to carrying Pilates DVDs with you along with a portable DVD player. By doing so you can ensure that even if the place in which you are staying has no Pilates studios nearby you will not have to miss your workout. If you are the kind of person who will get bored easily with one workout routine then carry two or more DVDs in order to keep you interested for the length of your stay.

However, with the growing popularity of Pilates you will easily be able to find either a class or a studio wherever you go in North America and now you will also be able to do so in most parts of Europe and Asia.
